Locust Street
Will be closed from Link Street to Topaz Street, beginning at 10:00 pm on Friday, and will not open until 5:30 pm Saturday night. Crystal Street will also be closed for vendor and emergency access only. Shoppers and festival attendees can access Locust(lower) Street from the top of Locust at the clock park to Link only during the day of the event. Access from Locust/Oak at Central Baptist Church is reserved for shuttle pick up and drop off and the children’s train ride.
Parking
Located at Riverside Park, Carolina Theater, Mitchell Credit, Old Wells Fargo, Young & Miller, Fortner Insurance, Howell Sparks, Canipe’s Garage, Old Bank of America lot, and WAMY/Edward Jones & Central Baptist Church. The parking lot behind Mitchell News Journal is reserved for vendor parking only and will not be open to the public. Festival attendees are encouraged to park at one of the designated parking lots and ride the shuttle to the festival to alleviate congestion downtown.
Designated handicap spots are available at these locations; Tropical Grill, Wells Fargo, Mitchell Credit parking lot, beside Little Library box, Tokyo, Bank of America, Riverside Park, and across from the public lot beside Carolina Theater. Parking at Central Baptist Church is designated for Handicap parking. If you are unable to access the shuttle and need assistance, please call 828-385-3561.
Shuttle
Service is free and will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Van is handicap accessible and will pick up and drop off at the first parking lot in Riverside and the festival entrance at Link & Locust Streets. You may also access the festival via the walking bridge (note, children’s train will be running this length of Locust).

Public Restrooms
Located at the Central Park/Spruce Pine Main Street Visitor Center on Locust Street. Information/emergency/lost & found and official FOM merchandise can be found/reported at the SPMS tent in front of Central Park during the festival.
Shops and Restaurants
Will all be open and serving all day during the event. Food Trucks will also be available at the event.
Festival Policy
Prohibits alcohol, tobacco/smoking, and dogs (except service animals). No vendors/independent businesses of any kind are allowed at the festival unless they have filed paperwork with SPMS in advance. Thank you for helping us keep our event safe, fun, and family-friendly.
