Downtown Spruce Pine Needs Your Help!
Help Rebuild Downtown Spruce Pine
Tropical Storm Helene has devastated our beloved downtown, with many local businesses suffering significant damage. We are asking for your support to help us rebuild and restore our vibrant community. All donations will go directly to aid affected businesses, ensuring they can recover and thrive once again.

Outdoor Recreation
Surrounded by magnificent national forests, waterfalls, and mountaintop views, Spruce Pine is in the center of it all. Tube or kayak the North Toe River or fish in our Mountain Heritage trout waters. If trekking around our national forests isn’t your cup of tea, spend the day wandering our downtown and get to know the store owners and locals. You won’t find big box names here, but what you will find is a quaint downtown full of unique stores.
Art & Craft
Home to over four hundred artists, this area is one of the most highly concentrated areas of skilled craftspeople in the country. We are so lucky to have such a range of incredibly talented makers who specialize in glassblowing, pottery, metalworking, painting, textiles, printmaking, woodworking, and so much more.
Eat & Stay
Stay with us for a while. We have lodging in the heart of downtown. Nearby camping, mountain cabins, and private rentals are only a short drive away. Better yet, make this your forever home. Southern charm also means southern food, and Spruce Pine has some of the best food in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
